Public respite options
Fraser Health offers adult day programs and overnight respite for those who qualify. Call the Access Line at 1-855-412-2121 to ask. Private respite at home is a separate option for times those programs don't cover, and your loved one doesn't need to leave home.

Common questions
Can you come in an emergency?
Call us and we'll tell you what we can arrange right away. It's easier when we've already met your family, so consider setting up a plan early.
Can respite care become regular?
Yes. Many families start with a one-time break and then choose a weekly schedule.
