How we help

- Sitting with your loved one so they aren't alone
- Light meals, drinks and tidying
- Overnight stays so family can sleep
- Helping family visits and religious or cultural practices happen as you wish
Working with your medical team
Pain control, medication and clinical decisions stay with your doctor, Fraser Health palliative care and hospice team. We follow the plan they set and tell them or the family if we notice changes.
Getting medical support
If you haven't connected with palliative care yet, ask your doctor or call the Fraser Health Access Line at 1-855-412-2121. Support is also available from local hospice societies.
We provide non-medical home support. We don't provide nursing care, wound care, injections or medication administration. If you need those, your doctor or Fraser Health Home and Community Care can arrange them, and we can work alongside that care.
Common questions
Can you stay overnight during the final days?
Yes, overnight and round-the-clock care can be arranged. Call us and we'll do what we can, as quickly as we can.
Do you replace the hospice team?
No. We add non-medical daily support. Medical care stays with the palliative care team.
