You direct the care
You know your body and your routine. We'll ask how you want things done and write it down so every caregiver follows it. Family members or representatives can take part as much or as little as you'd like.
Paying for support
Some people pay privately. Others may have support through Fraser Health, including Choices in Supports for Independent Living, where eligible clients manage their own care staff. Injury-related needs may fall under ICBC or WorkSafeBC. See ways to pay for home care.
We provide non-medical home support. We don't provide nursing care, wound care, injections or medication administration. If you need those, your doctor or Fraser Health Home and Community Care can arrange them, and we can work alongside that care.
Common questions
Can care fit around my work schedule?
Yes. Tell us when you need help and we'll build the schedule around it, including early mornings and evenings where we can.
Do you work with children?
This page is about adults. If you're looking for support for a younger person, call us and tell us what you need so we can answer honestly.
