Checking coverage
"Getting out" is one of the areas ICBC's guide lists in its assessment for personal care assistance, including using transportation, shopping and using local facilities. Your specialist can tell you what's approved. Ask about travel costs too, because different rules can apply to travel for treatment.
Keeping costs clear
We'll tell you what's approved under your claim and what isn't before the service happens. Keep your own record of appointments and any receipts ICBC asks for.
Right Move Home Care is an independent private business and isn't part of ICBC. ICBC decides what's covered on each claim. We can't promise coverage, so confirm with your ICBC support and recovery specialist before services start.
Common questions
Can you drive me if I'm nervous after the crash?
Yes. Lots of people feel anxious in cars after a crash. Tell us and we'll go at your pace. If anxiety is affecting your daily life, mention it to your doctor and ICBC specialist too.
